SummaryAt the DetailedSchedule I will provide specific blog titles that I want you to address. Otherwise, you are free to choose your own topics. Remember: your blog will be more persuasive if you are very specific, use paraphrases or quotation, and provide hyperlinks. At the end of this six week semester, you will receive a single grade for your blogging efforts. At a minimum, you must have three blogs each week for five weeks.

Here are the general guidelines for bloging this semester:

  • One entry of no less than 250 words must respond to an assigned reading or topic (see DetailedSchedule for particulars).
  • One entry of no less than 250 words must comment on any topic
  • One entry of any length, on any subject, in response to other blogs you find and subscribe to, including those of fellow students.

How will your blog be evaluated...

  • When reviewing your blogs, I will employ the following criteria to evaluate them:
    • were all of the assigned blogs completed?
    • were the blogs well written, using standard English?
    • were the blogs interesting?
  • Also, I will look for evidence of your reading and commenting on other students' blogs.
