In Class Essay

The article Lets you know that an university education also enlarges our understanding of it's history. It fires up curiosity about ourselves. We learn about ourselves as individuals more. The article lets you know that the education we receive at the university proceeds on the assumption that governing ourselves. Which is something that I do agree with because I think that it betters your education as well. The article talks about studying at an University want you to have a better understanding for both the University and others also. The article basically repeats itself in almost every paragraph. It tries to give you some different versions of education. I think the article needs some more work done to it. It just makes you wonder really because the article starts to go somewhere then it loses me. By just reading the topic you would think it would be informal and let you know more than it actuallly did. The article also touches on theories on natural and cultural differences. The article also goes on about the rights that people have."rights and responsibilities as a citizen, an agent, and an interpreter of the world and oneself". Which i think is only right because what you do and your actions are one you oneself. I mean someone always has responsibilities and someone always has to take them on. In the article it talks about by studying our own society, and the artifacts and records of our cultural ancestors, but we also study societies different from our own. We ask whether the experiences of the most powerful and privileged members of our society are representative of the experiences of others in our community with less power and fewer privileges. I find it very significant that general information provide opportunities. It creates opportunities for those who need a better understanding. I rely on the news for most of my information, which most of the time tells you the truth. You can try to look up some general information in a book or on a website but most of the time it is someones opinion. So with that said i do think General educatiob is important.

The article says that humans rely on philosophers and scientists if there is any question to be solved. But for philosophers and scientists, It is them that provide the information for you. General Education is offering a better understanding about history. Most of the time people will refer to texts for answers. This is also touch on in the article. Texts equip people with alot of information. This is where the scientists and philosophers put there theories,hypothesis',and their facts. I can definately identify some hidden assumptions, like in the article it says that peoplr rely on scientists and philosophers for knowledge. Alot of the time things are dicovered and explained by ordinary people. General Information usual gives you their version of the information. The article
