Peer Review Mox Summer1102
.

SummaryFollow the advice below to give two reviews and get one review on Project 3. Peer review can be an extremely helpful tool. When reading other students' papers, respond critically, but politely. Use The Argument Handbook Wiki you created as a reference to point out argument flaws or other shortfalls.

The idea here is that each of you have your paper peer-reviewed by at least two of your fellow classmates.

  1. List the exact url to your project 3 below (see A; time over template)
  1. To be a reviewer, sign your name in one of the two reviewer slots. In your review consider whether you understand the problem and have sufficient information to understand whether the suggested changes are feasible; Essay Assessment questions )
    • Deadline: compete the review by Monday at midnight.
  1. Email your comments to the author (by Monday at midnight.)
  2. Finally, when you submit your project for grading, evaluate the evaluators by addressing the following questions: Rate the level of their helpfulness on a 1 to 4 basis, with 4 being the highest. Explain what they said that you found helpful. Provide a printout of your two evaluators' emails.
  3. You are expected to review 2 other students' projects. The students whose papers are not listed for review will not receive credit for peer reviewing.
